Christian Service
Christian Fellowship
Altar Cleaning
Cleaning is done in the church on a weekly basis. More volunteers are always needed.
Artists in Progress
Join in the fun of painting with water color, charcoal, colored pencils or pastels with other “artists” on a weekly basis.
Athletics
There is a St. Colette men's softball team, with games on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Colette field.
Calling Birds
These are parishioners who send cards and/or notes once a month to those who are ill, infirm, grieving or to those giving care to such people. This is a most worthwhile ministry and we welcome anyone who may benefit from it to contact us. If you know of someone who is facing a difficult time, a ray of sunshine in the form of a greeting card, inspirational quotations or humorous stories might be appreciated. The Calling Birds meet on the 3rd Monday of the month to make beautiful handmade cards. All are welcome.
Christian Crafter's
This program offers a social atmosphere to participants who come together to make projects for themselves or to donate to a local charitable project. Meetings are weekly and all are welcome.
Coffee & Donuts
The last weekend of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, September, October & November are set aside for coffee & donuts after Mass. Come socialize with fellow parishioners after each Mass.
Hospitality
Volunteers help with set-up, clean-up and hostessing various receptions.
Knights of Columbus
See K of C tab on the St. Colette web site.
Womens Guild
We plan activities to support our Parish and the community and to promote friendship within our Parish family. We extend an invitation to all the ladies of the Parish to join our group in our spiritual, charitable and social activities.
Lent Soup Suppers
Soup Suppers, held on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. in the Social Area, begin with Ash Wednesday and continue until the week before Holy Week. The meal is followed by Mass celebrated by a parish priest from the city of Detroit. Donations from the supper and Mass are given to the visiting priest.
Parish Family Picnic
The Parish Picnic is held the third Sunday in July on the Parish Grounds. There are food, games and rides for all to enjoy.
Quilter's Circle
The Quilter's Circle meets weekly to share their love of this fun craft by making quilted items for themselves or to donate to organizations in need. All are welcome to drop in.
Spring Cleaning
Members of the Parish come together for a Spring cleaning of the church. This is usually done the week before Holy Week.
St. Colette Blood Drive
St. Colette Parish sponsors four blood drives each year to help reduce the shortage and to save more lives. You can help, by either stepping up and becoming a LifeSaver and donating blood, or by volunteering to help promote and run our blood drives, resulting in more blood being donated. "Together, we can do more."
